| Stage 2 |
Street, drag, drift, road race, autocross |
Natural aspirated and mildly modified forced
induction. Also good for stock power levels. Stock-like daily driveability
and very good wear characteristics. High clamp pressure plate, steel-baked,
pure Kevlar clutch friction material, high torque sprung hub and disc
assembly, bearing and tool Kit |
| Stage 3 |
Street, drag, drift, road race, autocross |
Heavily modified street and race engines. Offers
sufficient daily driveability with comfortable pedal feel and quick
engagement. Offers good wear characteristics under low and high stress
usage. High clamp pressure plate, 4 or 6 puck carbon semi-metallic
friction with high sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and tool
kit. 6 puck is standard on most applications, but 4 puck can be specified
when ordering. |
| Lightweight
and Aluminum Pressure Plates |
Street, drag, drift, road race, autocross |
For years lightweight flywheels have been used
to transfer energy from the engine to the ground more efficiently,
resulting in horsepower and torque gains, quicker revving and less
internal engine wear. SPEC offers two methods for reducing mass, a
drilled and lightened steel pressure plate and their NEW aluminum
pressure plate. The SPEC aluminum pressure plate offers the same benefits
and the reduction in mass as a lightweight flywheel, but is more effective
since the pressure plate extends further from the crank flange. They
can be used with OE flywheel or in conjunction with a lightweight
aluminum flywheel for a more drastic improvement |
