Hard Dog also offers the Hard Bar, Deuce, Ace and the Extreme for use on the street. Although these three bars offer rollover protection they may not meet the specifications of tech inspections at some performance driving events. They do fit all years of Miatas and offer a unique appearance if you're looking for an option to the Hardcore or Sport.

The M2 Sport Bar uses the same main hoop mounting system as the original Hard Bar Sport. The redesigned rear braces allow room for the '99 + M2 Mazda glass rear window. The M2 Sport will also fit the '90-'97 M1. The non diagonal version is compatible with most after market glass rear windows and special diagonal versions are available*. One or two main hoop diagonal braces and/or harness attachment tabs may be added.

The M2 Hard Core Bar is designed for the serious SCCA Solo I competitor that wants to maintain a dual purpose car for street and racing use. Hard Core Hardtop and M1 Hard Core versions available. Compatible with the 1999 and newer Mazda glass rear window or equivalent size aftermarket only.

The Hard Bar is designed for ease of installation, with the least amount of interference for normal use of the car. Easily installed in all year model Miatas.

The Hard Bar Sport uses the same main hoop as the Hard Bar but with the addition of larger bolt-in main hoop mounting plates and rear braces that mount to the structural framework inside the rear wheel wells. One or two main hoop diagonal braces and/or a harness bar may be added. Not compatible with the M2 or aftermarket glass rear window convertible tops.

The Ace, Hard Dog's response to popular demand for a traditional roll bar designed with more rearward placement for better head clearance that doesn't interfere with the stock seat belts.

A different twist utilizing our proven mounting system. Installation is quite similar to the sport models. Fits all year models.

The Deuce, Hard Dog's double hoop roll bar, has styling reminiscent of the AC Cobra. Secured with rearward bracing, the Deuce mounts to the unibody framework inside the rear wheel wells using our crash tested frontal and backup plate design. The Hard Dog Deuce is available with center mounted rear braces on the main hoops for a retro Cobraesque appearance, or side mounted rear braces for a cleaner double hoop appearance.
