LM-1: Digital Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Meter

Innovate Motorsports digital wideband A/F ratio meter helps with tuning an engine for maximum power. Previously tuning required long trial-and-error sessions on a dynamometer. Using the Innovative Motorsports' LM-1 kit, precise AFR measurement allows the user to correctly adjust many variables - including carburetor jetting, fuel injection, turbo fuel curves, etc.- without long and expensive dyno sessions. The meter's digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is running at any load. The LM-1's self-calibrating circuitry also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and sensor condition.

The instrument can sample and store the air-fuel-ratio and the other sensor data internally in operation for later analysis on a personal computer. At a sampling rate of 12 samples/second the instrument can store up to 44 minutes worth of data in non-volatile memory. The data can be downloaded to a personal computer using a standard serial port and viewed/analyzed by the included software or any standard spreadsheet program.

This kit includes a Meter, a Bosch 5-wire wide-band O2 sensor and 10ft. sensor cable, 10ft. cigarette-lighter power adapter, 6ft. serial cable for PC connection, 9V battery, exhaust bung and plug, Software on a CD, manual and a quick start guide.

The RPM Kit
This kit is comprised of the basic kit plus the LMA-2 Auxiliary Input Cable. This cable contains a circuit to convert a tach signal into an analog RPM signal that can be logged by the LM-1. This cable also has 4 additional terminal screws to tap into and log other sensors in your vehicle.

	XD-1 Programmable Digital Gauge

	Accessory for LM-1 or LC-1 Only! The Innovate XD-1 dash-mountable Digital Gauge features programmable LED colors and remote control button to start and stop LM-1 log sessions or initiate calibration. The entire gauge is a mere .750" thick, so it's possible to mount even in surface mount configurations. The display features a 3 character central LED display, remote control button, and a programmable digital needle. The body is a billet aluminum bezel.

Installation and Setup

Installation of the LM-1 (and auxiliary inputs) is relatively simple. Complete documentation is supplied, and the support pages, user forum, and tuner resources can also speed you on your way to effective tuning.
