TDR What's New

We've been using the TDR '99 Miata to R&D some new ideas and products for our customers. We're currently experimenting with the JR PowerCard. After weeks of testing we went to the dyno at recorded over 225 RWHP with more than 178 lb/ft of torque. These numbers were reached using only 8 psi of boost. The PowerCard worked flawlessly running the lager injectors along with the crystal for the raised rev limiter. This will be a great path for customers trying to reach that next level of performance without ditching their existing hardware and not wanting to build a forged component engine. We'll test this system on a '99 without a built engine and post the results. If it works as well as we expect, it will be available in the near future.

Next thing coming from TDR is the development of a affordable, full featured, fueling/timing system. We'll keep our customers posted on the specifics and dyno results in the next few weeks.

Along with the PC advancements and the other fueling R&D we've been testing our very own TDR header and have seen nice increases in power both boosted and naturally aspirated Miatas. Baseline pre-supercharger dynos showed a dramatic increase in horsepower and torque on all 1.8L Miatas. And the recent test with the PC neted some impressive numbers.

We're currently looking for an overseas manufacturer and will post more information on availability as things get finalized. So check back at the "What's New" section of our website for the lastest and greatest at TDR.

WWe've been busy the past few months developing new intercooler systems for the 1990-93 JRSC M45 Supercharger Kit and the recently released BRP Turbo Kit. Both intercooler systems use the same high quality material used in all of the Track Dog Racing intercooler system. Like all of our intercooler systems they have been dyno tested and proven to be the most efficient intercooler system on the market. The new intercooler systems are in production and should be ready to ship by the end on July 2005. When's it going to stop! We were back on the dyno on Saturday February 26 and reached 279.98 HP, 233ft- lbs. of torque on our '99 supercharged Miata. All we can say is that "She is a beast"! This latest power level was reached with the help of modifications to the intake manifold and revised porting on the MP62 supercharged housing.Power delivery is very impressive, but manageable, not explosive, unless you want her to be. Oh, did I mention this is on 93 octane gas!!!!! So what's next? We are confident in our methods of developing big horsepower andcan now offer our customers these levelsof power. Track Dog Racing is now carrying the full line of Innovate Motorsports' digital wideband air/fuel ratio meter kits. These kits offer a unique way of tuning your engine without the high cost of doing it on the dyno. With the Innovate Motorsports' LM-1 digital wideband meter, precise Air Fuel Ratio measurement allows the you to correctly adjust many variables while tuning on the street. The meter's digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is running at any load.
